The Red Pen Trick

Today, I had a rare spa night/meeting with some girlfriends. Amazingly, I managed to get a pedicure and a manicure at the same time, for the first time since before Eva was born 16 months ago (with OPI Sweet Heart on my fingers and a fabulous new - to me - shade, Tasmanian Devil Made Me Do It,a hot orange-y hue, on my toes). While talking fashion with a couple of the girls, Darlynn Nangano, who's a hip fashion blogger, threw out one of the funniest asides I've heard in a while. She commented that every girl needs a red pen in her purse. It comes in handy to mark down the tags on new purchases before debuting them in front of your spouse/fiance/other financially involved party. Love it!
